"Win through your actions, never through argument. Any momentary triumph you think you have gained through argument is really a Pyrrhic victory. The resentment and ill will you stir up is stronger and lasts longer than any momentary change of opinion. It is much more powerful to get others to agree with you through your actions, without a word. Demonstrate, do not explicate." - Robert Greene
This was such a powerful book. The amount of information and knowledge you can gain from this one book is incredible. Robert Greene is such a marvelous storyteller who will keep you captivated and engaged throughout the whole book for sure!
In some aspects, the book makes people seem predictable, selfish, narcissistic, and egotistical. The majority of the laws revolved around hiding your intentions, and not stepping in anyone's shoes. It saddened me a little at certain parts of the book to see all the tragic ending and outcomes of individuals in power.
This book has no fairytale ending and it doesn't beat around the bush.
At some point, it seems a bit harsh but it is a good wake-up call. As much as I wanted to disagree, I knew everything he said was true.
Definitely give this book a try; you will learn so much from this book.
